Epiphone Thunderbird Pro V -EMG Mod.-

いわゆる5弦サンダーバードのアクティブベースです
ニガミ17才のイザキタツルさんが使用されているモデルでもあります

抜群のルックスに惹かれ、2022年の1月頃に中古で入手しましたが、こちらの5弦モデルは4弦モデル(Thunderbird PRO Ⅳ)の4弦用のピックアップを流用していることから5弦の鳴りが悪く、エピフォン製であるためノイズも多かったので、電装系の総入れ替えモディファイを行いました

モディファイ後のピックアップは「EMG 35DC」を2基、プリアンプは「EMG BQC SYSTEM」となっております
モディファイにあたってピックアップおよびプリアンプ部分のザグリの拡張、導電塗料の塗布がなされています

なお、ヘッド部のEMGロゴはステッカーで、剥がすとエピフォンロゴが出てきます

施工はすべて某ベース専門店にて行っていただきました

使用感はありますがトラスロッド、フレット等は問題ありません(あくまで私見)

ここまで実用的な5弦サンダーバードは他ではまずないかと思われます
需要は決して高くないフェチベースですが、本当に欲しい方の元に届けば幸いです
