SIGMA Contemporary 16mm F1.4 DC DN APS-C

SIGMA 16mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporaryは、ソニーEマウントのAPS-Cミラーレスカメラ用交換レンズとしては初めて35mm版換算で24mm F1.4相当（マイクロフォーサーズ用としては、35mm版換算で32mm F1.4相当）を実現。ミラーレスカメラユーザー待望の大口径広角レンズです。
SIGMAミラーレスカメラ用の交換レンズは、日常でも使いやすい軽量・コンパクトなパッケージを採用するというコンセプトのもと、撮影の基本構成をおさえた焦点距離で構成してきました。2016年に発売した30mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporaryは、F1.4の明るさを実現しながら高い光学性能を発揮する、ミラーレスカメラ用の新しい大口径単焦点レンズシリーズの第一弾としてリリースされました。
この16mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporaryも、30mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporaryと同様のコンセプトのもと開発されています。13群16枚というレンズ構成に、特殊ガラスを多数採用。諸収差を抑え、絞り開放から高い解像力を実現しました。
また、動画AFに対応する光学設計とステッピングモーターの採用により、オートフォーカスによる自然なフォーカスワークが可能。マウント部のシーリングなど、簡易防塵防滴構造も備えています。
